“Deep Storm” by Lincoln Child

Deep Storm by Lincoln Child is a very enjoyable action novel.  The story is about an ex-naval doctor, Peter Crane, who is called to investigate mysterious illnesses aboard a submerged research facility two miles below the Atlantic.  Dr. Crane discovers that the research being done at the facility is not what he was told and has implications for the planet.  There are plenty of twists and turns that stop you from putting down the book.  It is very Twilight Zoneish with the zinger at the end similar to The Ice Limit that Lincoln Child published with Douglas Preston.
