Silent Partner by Stephen FreyFound Silent Partner by Stephen Frey on my bookshelf a couple of days ago. I think my Dad gave it to me last year after he read it. Read it in less than a day as it was an enjoyable thriller and wasn’t in the mood to do anything constructive.

The story is about Angela Day who is recruited by a reclusive billionaire, Jake Lawrence, to research a company he is planning to take over. In exchange for her help, he promises to help Angela regain custody of her child from her adulterous ex-husband. Helping Jake Lawrence proves to be a dangerous endeavor as Angela becomes a target of those trying to assassinate the billionaire.

I saw the primary plot zinger right away, but didn’t see the all the other twists that happen in the last 30 pages. There are a number of them and all seemed to pile on top of each other at the end.

Silent Partner was a good easy reading thriller and plan to read more of Stephen Frey’s novels.
