Devices to Take Textbooks Beyond Text

New e-book readers, in addition to displaying standard text, offer liquid-crystal displays to better show graphics and other items found in color in textbooks.

Ian:  These hybrid devices with an e-reader and LCD screen are a stop gap until the an e-reader screen is developed that can display color and graphics.  This and a long lasting battery will be game changers.  The textbook issues are the same that the magazine industry is facing.
