Our vine roses are looking the best this year since we bought the house and we didn’t do anything special. In past years, I have fussed and trimmed the vines, put fertilizer down, weeded, etc. This year, I didn’t do anything as I planned to rip out the rose vines and replace them with rose bushes. But to my chagrin, they are looking the best than they ever had. I guess the moral is don’t overdue the attention as nature will run its own course. Hopefully, they will keep blooming all summer. I need to watch the watering as our land is very sandy. Any tips would be extremely welcome.
