		<description><![CDATA[Ela &#38; I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary by going to the Wave at Danfords Hotel &#38; Marina in Port Jefferson, NY.  We enjoyed the dinner very much and had a memorable evening together.  It was a Thursday and there were only 3 other tables occupied in the restaurant.  We assume that was because of the day of the week and economy.  The bar was crowded with an upscale crowd that appeared mixed in age. The noise from the bar carried into the dinning room, but was at tolerable level and didn’t make us feel so alone. Our table was by the back window where we could see the water and ferry.  The view was great as we got to watch a ferry come in and depart. Also, we could see people walking in from their boats that were tied up in the marina in back of the restaurant. For an appetizer we had the calamari and oysters on the half shell.  The calamari has lightly breaded and cooked to perfection.  It came with a chipotle and marinara sauces. The chipotle was terrific with the calamari.  The marinara sauce was good too, but I personally a not a fan of tomato based sauces.  The oysters [...]]]></description>
