I watched “Knowing“ staring Nicholas Cage on pay-per-view last night. It was much better than I thought it would be. The plot is about a single father, M.I.T. professor (Nicholas Cage) who discovers a list of numbers written by a child 50 years ago. He quickly deduces that the numbers have predicted every major disaster by date, number of dead and location since written. Unfortunately there are only a couple of more entries and the last one doesn’t have a location. Could it be the end of the world? Nicholas Cage excels in sorrowful roles and this part was perfect for him. The other supporting actors and actresses were good. I recommend this film, but you might wait until it is on advertising supported TV as there wasn’t anything really to cut out of the film.
